HELP US SAVE SEA TURTLES IN SENEGAL!
Turtles have been roaming the oceans for millions of years, but today they are threatened with extinction.
The Tortues et Nature Park, located near Dakar (Senegal), will be the first turtle rescue and conservation centre in West Africa. It will be a place of education, tourism and commitment to biodiversity.

Why this project?
➊ Sea turtles are the most endangered animals in the world, second only to primates. Fishing nets, poaching and plastic pollution are to blame.
➋ Senegal is home to 5 out of 7 species of sea turtle and is home to one of the largest populations of green turtles in the world. 🐢
➌ Green turtles are essential for maintaining seagrass beds, the underwater meadows responsible for around 10-18% of total carbon storage in the oceans. 🌊 The other turtle species help to balance biodiversity, particularly by eliminating jellyfish.
📌 The funds raised through this campaign will help:
🔹 Build a turtle care and rehabilitation center
🔹 Secure nesting beaches and feeding areas
🔹 Raise awareness among schools and families
🔹 Create jobs and support the socio-professional integration of young people
🔹 Strengthen local conservation initiatives in West Africa
📢 Share our campaign and help us support the turtles!
